A Virgin

That's got your attenion.
We have a basic Virgin cable account in London, no frills TV, telephone
with free national rate calls and broadband.
The BB is the basic 2mb package.
The whole lot comes in under £25 a month.
Yesterday I decided to uopgrade the BB to the next level, up to 10mb.
Pick up the phone and dial 150, free call.
Pushed a couple of buttons to get through the auto stuff and talk to a
droid. Gave the account number and address and told him what I wanted to
do. No problem he says, one moment please...................
ok sir that's done, it usually takes about 24 hours to kick in, anything
else we can do for you?
Er no, that,s fine, thank you.
Now the interesting thing here is that the account is in my wifes name
and I'm damn sure I do not sound like a woman on the phone.
Anyway 10 minutes later I logged on to Speedtester and blam we have warp
speed.
Apart from the lousy laggy cableTV boxes I like Virgin cable.
