*Tickettyboo* explained on 10/08/2008 :
I know a few people who can use the message headers to track people down
to name, address and phone number. On uk.sport.horseracing persistent
racing tipsters making fictitious claims were shown and shamed. One
could not tell the truth about anything as I found when I tracked other
details of him right back to his Old Boys College web site.:-)

The most you can find from headers is an isp and possibly an IP addy (
and headers can be forged if a person has the time/interest/knowledge) .
If the isp feels the need to act upon a a complaint then they can use
their records to contact the customer, but I would eat anyone's hat if
they can get a name address and phone number just from headers

Hi Boo, as I asked before, just 'what' is there to complain about?
I have still not received an answer from Derek.

For the OP to have issues with somebody he possibly created the conflict
in the first place. And knowing the OP as I do, who to my knowledge has
had similar problems in NGs a few times before, it wouldn't surprise me as
to who is to blame.

The only problem he has is Paranoia.
