It was brilliant, but I'm glad we pre-booked. It was really surreal,
sitting in the middle of one of their gardens in the sunshine.
Scrummy sandwiches and cakes. Hope you're not too jealous when you see
the piccies Madge lol
Oh but you are a cruel woman Splodge!!
Actually, we had 'tea' out too.......collected little Alice from her after
school club and took her to Pizza Hut for a treat. Not quite the same as
your treat of course but still nice.
I always liked Pizza Hut, but they're off my "diet" temporarily (unlike
cream teas lol)
My daughter has added to the family with a new kitten - totally to die
for! he's 9 weeks old and just a ball of fluff, LOL. Beautiful
colouring - mostly white but with some grey and the cutest face you ever
did see. They've named him Lucky.
Bet you wanted to take him home Madge. Any photos? I'd love to drool......
BTW, your tea today reminds me of way back in the 70's when I had an
Australian g/friend and we used to treat ourselves to tea at The Ritz once
a month on a Sunday - so beautifully presented.
I went to the Ritz for tea once and thought the tables were too close
together. Mind you, we did hear some interesting canoodling from the other
customers:)))
