Speaking of pastries I do sometimes have a craving for a Greggs cheese
and
onion pasty followed by a custard slice. The Greggs bakeries outside of
the
North East just don't pass muster for me though.

And now I'm drooling at the thought of the corned beef squares and bacon
and egg pies my mother used to make. I wish I'd taken the recipe.

Oooh I remember my Nana's egg and bacon pie - I think the recipe is in the
Bero Cookbook.
