Back From Seeing the Surgeon

He's quite happy with the state of my face. He thinks there's still some surplus blood in my cheek from the haematoma (you may recall that a couple of hours after the op they had to take me back down to theatre to deal with a big blood clot). He reckons it'll take two to three months for my cheek to get back to normal size. That's fine - I don't mind how long it takes, I was just concerned that the 'swelling' was getting worse. He said that can happen sometimes but basically he thinks everythings fine. So that was the reassurance I was hoping for and I can get on with other things - like winning tonights double rollover. :)
