No way am I going there LOL! If I get him to do what I suggested and it
doesn't sort it then he will have to just ring BT or get Orange to ring them
:-)

Do you by any chance know if the modem will synch with a different
provider's net connection? I kind of doubt it, but its beyond my experience
( and also beyond my comprehension why he wants to do that rather than the
simple stuff)
