Well I really don't know what to think after seeing the Doctors last
night. Jim's antibiotics have finished now and he seems to be clear of any
infections. We were with Jim for 2 and half hours and didn't get much
response from him at all. His vital signs are all pretty normal but he
just lays with his eyes shut. He is not asleep most of the time as when he
is asleep he snores and every now and again he opens his eyes, gives a
small smile then closes them again.

The Doctor is waiting till tomorrow evening when we see her again. He is
still on a drip to feed him, and Doctor says he will be fine on that and
could go possibly another 2 weeks with the body fat he has.

So we are waiting, praying and seeing.

Come on Jim :)

He could have learned how to breathe in his sleep now, Jen.
Not trying to disagree with you, you're the one experiencing it, just
putting another string to the bow.
You know how things altered rapidly for me to states that weren't really me
at all.
He could be repairing in the same way!

When you consider that still after 5 years, unless pain or, like this
morning, the inability to breathe, wakes me up, I sleep 10-12 hours.
And the ear/nose/throat shape is still trying to get back where it should
be.
I have no idea how long that part of me has been mending but it has taken a
long time.

It just could be that he's changed shape around there and sleep enforced by
the brain is the only way to carry on the repair.
I don't know! But neither do the Drs or Jim!
So don't get too dis-heartened yet.
He's still being thought of by us gooses.
