I forgot to mention, and wondered if Pam (the Goose) has any
comment. Jim was singing "Singing in the Rain" last night, it was
almost word perfect but not very much in tune
Well, Jen, I was a singer in my day, good enough for solo's onstage,
but am only just getting my pitch perfect reproduction back ;-))
So if it's the 'not very much in tune' bit you're wondering about
then I can say that happened to me, too.
If it's the song you're wondering about then it could full well be he
has been woken by rain which has stirred a memory.
If that's the case then memory is returning, maybe even old memories
are re-surfacing.
Either way that's good.
Just play the games with him, it's real to him and he has to be
encouraged to act this way on things that come into his mind. It gets
the brain to be able to think. I didn't realise my thinking powers
were gone and it was too quiet in my head until the day thinking
started again not so long ago (I've forgotten when ... LOL).
But when thinking *did* start again I remember feeling it was noisy
inside my head, that voice that kept on about things was not mine!
After a good talk with Ray I realised I was supposed to have that
voice there, it was called 'thinking' and I had to listen to it and
talk back to it, in my head, not out loud. It's never been a problem
since :-))
I don't know how people repair after these traumas without someone
like Ray explaining things to them :-) Remember wtw and the nerve
pain everywhere problem of mine? He said it sounded like the computer
that had lost the colour coordination of plugs and sockets so I had
to plug leads in every socket in turn till I hit on the right one.
Ray comes up with things like that and he has put me straight over
and over again :-)
Word perfect? Yes, he must have loved that song in his day :-) The
words were sitting there filed away in his brain. Yesterday they came
to the surface for a while and he used them in the only way he knew.
It's all progress :-) Keep at it, Jim :-))
Thanks Pam
Jen
