Chloe went into theatre at 7.30 this morning for her liver transplant
at Jimmys in Leeds.
The day seemed to drag, I have been finding all sorts of jobs to keep
occupied.
She was back in intensive care for 2.30pm and everything has gone
according to plan. She is grumbling because she cannot have as much
to drink as she would like, but is very sleepy. Not on the
ventilator, which she was warned she might be.
Thankfully being physically very well, having had 9 weeks to bounce
back after chemotherapy has paid off.
She went back to school on the 4 September and has managed full time
since, apart from her weekly blood check which she organised to be
during the PE morning.
So we shall be eternally grateful that Chloe was given this gift
through another family's loss.
