Don't think it is just the nursing profession where standards are
slipping. Seems they learn so much technical jargon that the basics
get overlooked. My granddaughter is a whizz at maths, can do long
complicated calculations, solve problems, etc. but can't tell whether
she has been given enough change when she shops!
That's not maths, that's economics! :^)
Was checking change EVER taught at school?
