In <news:eWQAi.28915$ph7.27287@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>, 28/08/07, Pam the
goose thought carefully and then said:
Had a strange one overnight.
Woken up by a female voice at 2.30 am and suddenly realised it was me
talking in my sleep! Wow, that goes back years, I used to do it as a child.
Went to the bathroom and realised I was walking properly, no stumbles, no
leg wanting to bend as it took my weight, altogether solid, normal walk.
Then realised my finger joints weren't hurting. I could even interlace my
fingers, pressing them together as I did so, and no hurt.
Leaned over and banged my knees with my hands - no hurt.
What was happening here? I didn't hurt anywhere!!! First time since the
aneurism (5 years come November) I have had no pain. So came downstairs and
made me a cuppa feeling as excited as a youngster going to a party :-)))
Only stayed down an hour but by the time I went back up the pain was still
gone. Fell asleep immediately and slept till 6.40 when I got up and tested
the ows.
Fingers have slightly ow-ish joints but the hands are straight with no weird
shapes to them as had become usual these days.
Knees are still behaving. Ribs are still pain-free. Back is pain-free. All
this is for the first time in almost 5 years. I'm as shocked as I'm pleased!
I just have no idea what has gone on to stop the pain, none whatsoever, it's
just stopped. So that leaves me none-the-wiser to what caused it.
Altogether a repair I cannot understand the hows and whys of, but a very
welcome repair it is. :-)))
Ah, so that is why you're skipping around this morning! Good on 'yer Pam
and long may it last. Wish you could pass on the 'painless' knees in this
direction, mine are killin' me today, after a day out yesterday walking
around a showground that was rather 'uppy downy' and hard on the joints.
Enjoy the skipping :o)
