So I wonder why the independent experts are saying the devices
could have caused mayhem on a similar scale to those killing and
maiming scores of people in Baghdad. Are they all wrong and that
reporter/author, or whatever he is in Dublin, the only one who's
got it right.

How else do they persuade the gullible to keep them in business?
Get real. These guys have careers, mortgages and families to think
of.
Putting the frighteners on the rest of us is a great way to
guarantee their future.
You know as well as I that the risks of being injured or blown up by
terrorists in the UK are nothing like the risks of being injured or
killed in road traffic accidents, fires, MRSA in your local
hospital, Legionnaire's Disease, BSE variant CJD et al. And yet
these guys continue to grab the headlines for nothing more than
scare stories.
It's an attempt to induce mass hysteria. Don't work
though........we're British :)
and Gordon comes and saves us on his big white charger ;)and everyone
is full of praise ;-)
