One Ubuntu installation CD.
I have decided not to use it so it is surplus to my requirements.
If you want it, my e-mail address is valid.

Just as a matter of *Interest* MCC I was wondering why you have
decided not to try Ubuntu, have you tried installing it under
VMWare or VirtualBox?

I haven't a clue what you are talking about!

Things like VMWare & VirtualBox (& also M$ Virtual PC & Parallels
Workstation) are Software programs/Applications that you Run on your
PC & they create a "Virtual" Machine, Running on your real, physical
Machine (but separate & isolated) which has (in effect) a Hard Disk
(which is actually a *File* on your real Hard Disk, so you don't need
to do any Partitioning of your actual Hard Disk) & you can use them
to Boot up (the Virtual Machine) from a CD/DVD (or even better,
quicker & easier, an ISO Image of a CD/DVD, so you don't even have
to Burn the CD/DVD).

That lets you try out any Operating System & any Applications/
Utilities that you want to, without running any risk of screwing up
you normal Installation.
:-)

I was going to install it on my laptop on which I have my Freecom
DVB-T USB installed. It won't work under any Linux flavour. Also the
laptop only has a 40MB hard drive so it's not really big enough to
partition for Windows and Ubuntu use.

Don't forget that with most Linux Distrinutions (especially things
like Ubuntu/Kubuntu), they have a "LiveCD" Option, which means you
can just Boot the Computer straight up from them, without having
to actually Install it, so you can try it out without using any
Hard Disk Space & without Partition the Hard Disk. (Though *because*
the Computer is Booted up, from the CD (& not from the Hard Disk)
you can actually (very usefully), use those "LiveCds" to Boot Up
& Partition a Hard Disk, without losing the Data on the Disk, using
things like GParted).
