The Silversurfers local representatives saw Karl off on his final journey.
It was well attended by family and friends.
See the order of service here:-

The service went beautifully, Family ,friends workmates all agreed it was a
fitting tribute to My Man Karl.
If he was watching I think he would have been touched as Catherines and The
Bear spoke of Him, both delivering a personal tribute to Karl.
As for The Funeral Director who conducted the service, I felt he personally
knew Karl, this was only after a 30 minute chat with me as I was arranging
the funeral.
He did visit the forums and used some of the tributes from here in his
service, so KF was involved as well.
There was a couple from the Silver Surfers forum I believe, but
unfortunately, every time I went to speak to them someone waylaid me :(
My sister did manage to speak to them though.
Pete please convey my heartfelt thanks for them attending. I hope they felt
the service did Karl justice.
I did try to get to speak to everyone but there were so many there .
It was a very tiring/busy day but I still found myself sitting in the
garden at 3 o`clock this morning pondering the few months :(

how can you read that last paragraph and not shed a tear?

Do cemetery workers prefer the graveyard shift?
