I get a "404 Not Found" HTTP Response from that Server, when I try
that URL!

But anyway, the prob with all these "OnLIne" Virus/Trojan Scanner
type things is that they usually rely on an ActiveX Control to
be Installed & Run on the PC, which means lowering (& possibly
compromising?) the Security Settings of your Web Browser &/or your
Firewall, to Run the Scan!

& also, you (obviously?) need to be Connected to the Internet,
to Run that sort of Scan! - & If you have a Machine which you
suspect is (or might be) Infected with any sort of MalWare, it
really *shouldn't* be Connected to the Internet until you are
sure that it is clean & not compromised.


Connection seems OK to me
This does use activeX, or similar. It is far quicker than the other online scanners I've used. Less than 5 mins. That is an advantage for dial-up users who can spend that long updating their AV software.
