Do they ever read email?
I have a 1999 Kodak Picture CD which, no matter what I try, will not
install the Kodak software. Consequently the CD will not auto-run.
So I emailed Koday support explaining exactly what I had tried and
asked if there was a solution to the problem.

First reply

Please do the following :
1. Insert the CD into the computer
2. Double click on My Computer
3. Right click on the CD - drive ( which should be a Kodak icon )
4. Select Open. It should then show the the icons to open the
pictures
If it doesn' t, please reply on this email for further
instructions.
If we can be of any further assistance please do not hesitate to
contact us. If applicable, please quote your camera serial number or
your customer reference number.

Once again I replied that I had tried that and that I wanted to
install the software so that the CD would auto-run when my great
grand-daughter put the CD in the drive.

What has my camera got to do with the problem???????

So I've replied

Thank you but my query has nothing to do with my camera but with the
Picture CD software.
My camera is a Canon AE1.
Sorry, but I do not call 0870 numbers.
I have now created my own auto-run CD for my great-grand-daughter.

Wonder what they will reply to that. The mind boggles!

Well I'm sure you'll let us know if they do reply. :)
