Is there somewhere where you can get an idea how long a waiting list is
for various operations?
I went to the Drs. this morning and he reckons I will need a replacement
hip joint and probably another replacement knee joint as well??

Sorry to hear that Jackie. Has your GP dictated a referral letter to an
orthopaedic blokey? The person to ask is the surgeon, whenever you see him,
as he's the one who looks at your x-rays. I would have thought 6 - 9 months
from seeing him is about the norm - unless you listen to a certain chap
called TB........
