Thanks to pmj,

Nope.
It was thanks to *you*, sorting through them & picking the ones
you wanted & getting them in the different Folders.
:-)

& thanks to IrfanView, for ReSizing them all, using its "Batch
ReSize" Facility & thanks again to IrfanView for Creating the
ThumbNails of all the Pics & then (Automagically) Writing out the
HTML for the Pages that show the Thumbnails & the Pages that show
each Picture.

(& thanks to something like Notepad), so you could Edit the ThumbNail
Index page, for each Folder, so as to include a Link on each one to
the other ThumbNail Index Pages, in the other Folders.)

... yer they is:-

Great!!!

Oh yes, & it was thanks to the simple & easy, Drag & Drop Interface
that windoze & Internet Explorer use, so you could Upload them all
to the FTP Server.
:-)

& no thanks at all to the McAfee Firewall User Interface, which is
a bloody mess & Nightmare, so it's very hard to see what Rules are
Set in it & to Find the Rule which was Blocking the Conenction to
the FTP Server.

Wotcha mean - you wanted captions too?

Well, noty necessarily just yet! - Not on this first attempt!!!

But maybe on some others that you will be doing?
:-)

... lol, it's taken me three days to upload them

Nope.
The first lot of Time was spent (by you) sorting the actual Pics out!

Then it took a little while (not much more than a couple of Hours
or so in Total?) to Download & Install IrfanView & use it to Batch
ReSize them all & to make the ThumbNails & use it to Write out the
HTML Pages for the ThumbNail Index Pages & the Picture Pages.

The Uploading prob only happened this time yesterday & you got
that prob Sorted out OK, didn't you?
& when it *was* sorted out, it only took about 15 Minutes or so to
Upload all 3 Folders, with all the Pics & HTML Pages in.

... and you still want captions?!

Yes, please!

On the *next* lot!

Then, when you have got the hang of it, you can come back & bung
some Captions on the Pages for *this* lot!
:-)

Misc piccies of Canada showing elks outside my hotel bedroom at
6am, an overweight groundhog I encountered close to the Ottawa
Parliament Building, and a steam train Judy and I went on. Also one
of a very odd building on stilts in Vancouver, plus one of my
remaining pussycat, Sherry.

Nice Pics.
:-)

The rest are views taken from the Rocky Mountaineer train, and
the puds served on board - very scrummy.

With lots of Maple Syrup?
:-)
