Yep gathered that from your earlier post, but it's again laziness.
Just copying and pasting is quicker and easier than opening notepad
and having to copy and paste twice.

OK...
So try (when you're Copying & Pasting stuff & are too lazy
(your own words!) to do it via Notepad) it another way?...

Switch the format of the Post (while you're Composing it)
Temporarily to "Rich Text (HTML) - use:

Menu>Format>Rich Text (HTML)

& then switch it back again (to Plain Text).

Menu>Format>Plain Text

That usually Converts stuff OK & I *think* that it also removes
any extraneous Images etc, from the text/Post as well.

HTH

But that's another 6 mouse clicks. :)

LOL!!!

OK...

If another 6 Mouse Clicks is too much, try using the Keyboard?

ALT+O+R (Or F10 O R) - to Switch to Rich Text HTML

& then...

ALT+O+X (Or F10 O X) - to Switch back again, to Plain Text

Of course, if OE included an Option (like WordPad does) in the
Edit Menu>Paste Special, you could use that & then Select
"UnFormatted (Plain) Text", but it doesn't & I can't think of any
quicker & easier way than those 6 Mouse Clicks or the Keyboard
Shortcuts to do it, sorry.

Hang on!!!...

It's only *4* Mouse Clicks!
I just tried it.

1 - Menu>Format
2 - Rich Text (HTML)

3 - Menu>Format
4 - Plain Text

(Plus the [OK], if you have that "Html to Plain Warning" Dialog Box
Enabled, which it is by Default, but can be turned off)
