Also, some humourous info re. Canada for those who have &/or are
thinking of visiting the Country.

I'd especially appreciate 'boo's thoughts..........
OOH Boo's thoughts are a very rare species <g>
It was amusing, these things usually are. On a serious note though, I
never really grasp all this 'we are the best so bang the drum' - from any
nation. Some of it is amusing in a general sort of way, but , as in those
articles, pride in yourself or your country seems so often to be mixed
with a good dollop of running your neighbour down and that sorta negates
the good stuff in my book. I always thought the best part of
something/someone/some nation being 'good' is to just be 'good' and let
others judge on the merits, rather than saying hey we are good and
therefore you are rubbish <g>
The more I go to different places, the more I am struck by the
similarities , rather than the differences in the people. Be it a
village/town/country/continent, there's good and bad about everywhere (
and the people who live there)
LOL well, you 'did' ask :-)
So I did................
I still prefer Canada to the US, if only 'cos Canadians understand
Estuary English <G>
