Have you looked at your Tool settings Accounts & Options for
Newsgroups make sure they are the same as in your PC.
I have just checked it all out have the laptop beside me at the
moment and all settings are exactly the same and this problem has
only just started and I have not changed anything recently. I
wonder what is happening. I have re-started the laptop but still no
older posts downloading.I have closed it down again now and will go
back to it later and see what happens.
Thank you uker.
You can get things like Error Clean
http://www.errorclean.com/download.htm#
that makes Outlook Express work I should imagine there are other
things out there, as well. Look for a free Outlook Express Cleaner.
I've used Error Clean for a while now and can recommend it.
It gets rid of a load of stuff that CCleaner leaves behind.
I have run Error Clean Mike and it says I have 120 errors on my laptop and I
ewould need to register before it can clear it all.
Does that mean I would have to pay and how much - do you know - have you
bought it??
It says it has removed 5 errors on my laptop but I still have the problem
downloading newsgroup messages, still says there are none.
I have gone to tools-maintenance and cleared all there and I am just doing a
defrag so will see what happens.
