In news:442D83A0.1FDC8A8B@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx,
Frederick Williams whispered softly in my ear...:
Not so long ago I asked a poster not to top post. Here's a handy web
page:
http://www.usenet.org.uk/ukpost.html#ss3.1
That has a lot of info and is useful, but there isn't a great deal in
there about 'how' to go about doing what it recommends.
Boo waves to the lurkers !
Especially those who are really new to this newsgroup lark. Jump in and
join in. Please don't hold back till you get to the stage where the post
will be exactly right according to usenet conventions, the majority of
folk who post in here won't bite yer head off or worry too much about it -
and 'if' you want to then learn the 'how' of stuff like that, just shout
out and help will be forthcoming.
This is uk.people.silversurfers, it was /is aimed at those who are new to
this medium and want to learn a bit more about it in a relaxed and
friendly manner.
:-)
