Re: More on Windows CD writing.

In news:45610fF543gsU1@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx,
jamps whispered softly in my ear...:
Make sure that the IMAPI Service is Enabled & Running.

Where do I find this?

You go to Start :Run and type services.msc in the box and press ok

That brings up a list of the services ( sort of internal progs that make
the gubbins w*rk) on your pc.

Scroll down the list and find IMAPI CD- Burning COM Service and you will
see in the status column if it is currently running or not and the start
up type column tells you if it runs automatically, if it is to be started
manually ( maybe by another prog that uses it) or is disabled

Double clicking on the name of the service brings up a box where you can
change the status or start up type.

That page gives guidelines to the settings but that is all they are,
depending on your own machine and how you want things set. May give you
some info though.
