That Alert that Val Posted up appeared to say that it had Blocked
it from *Accessing* the Internet, rather than from being Accessed
*from* somewhere (or something) else on the Internet?

Yep, but that's *your* IP Address, isn't it?
Your IP Address, *within* your own Local Area Network.
Cos you are using A Router, which Assigns (using DHCP - Dynamic
Host Configuration Protocol) IP Addresses in the "Non-Routable",
Private Address Space, as mentioned by Ali below...

So, (if Smokey was talking about this NTOSKRNL.EXE thing), then
it sounds like it's something on her Machine, just trying to Access
something else on her own Local Area Network?

What Val would need to do is to check what IP Address (& also what
Port/Service) it is trying to Access.

Then she may (possibly with some more Help, Advice, Suggestions
& Pointers from people?) be able to decide whether to Allow it or
to let it stay Blocked.
