LOL!!!
That isn't true at all!!!
:-)

You are *incredibly* nosey (inquisitive & tenacious), when it comes
to all sorts of things like that!

I know that you have a certain way of thinking (called "Boo Logic" ?)
Which means that very many things you come up against, you can suss
out how to do & how to handle them & get around most probs...

OK, you think of it as being ordinary, but that's only cos that's
the way you are...

But many other people seem to be completely flummoxed by them.

See?

You have been prepared to muck around with & find out a bit about
things like that, (often prompted by me?<g>) so you know that you can
get around the prob, so it was (to you) only a "minor hiccup"!..

But I know plenty of other people who, when faced with something
like that, would have had no idea about how to suss it out.

>... Now fixted by using that caccls stuff to give me permission

LOL!

Yep - that CACLS (Command Line Control Access Control List) Utility
is useful - but most people haven't ever heard of it, or that it even
exists, let alone know what it does or how to (or that you can) use it
to sort out a "minor hiccup" like you had.
Without using it, the "minor hiccup" would have been a major prob!

For some more Info about that sort of thing, there are various Articles
on the M$ Site about it...

& then you did it all again, didn't you?
:-)

Cos of some Installation that went wrong with the WiFi thingy?

& then...
After doing that, you then did the whole thing all over again (twice!),
with the *other* operating System, on another Partition!
:-)

ROFL!

& you claim to be "ordinary"???

Even *I* don't do 4 Full Installations of WinXP in one afternoon!
:-)

Yep.
It's a good idea to do that sort of thing, when you've done an Install,
so you can then just Copy the nice, fresh, clean Installation back
over, whenever you need it.

> Don't think you are going to interest Sandra in doing that :-)

Yes, I know, but really it would Help her out no end if she *did*
actually do that sort of thing, wouldn't it?

Yep, that's what I was thinking...
Now that she knows a bit more about how she wants various things Set
on it & has done a bit of finding out about what's on her PC, it would
definitely be a good idea to start from fresh, with the benefit of what
she has found out.
