Put the pooter on hibernate whilst I was dining and watching the footie.
When I came back and restarted it, back to ½ width display after several
Power switch presses. Couldn't get to reset anything, so thought I'd just
leave it and carry on looking at posts through squinty eyes. After about
10 minutes there was a strange noise from the monitor and the full width
display returned for about 10 seconds and then reverted to ½ width. A
couple of minutes later the noise sounded again - for a couple of seconds -
returned to full width display but was accompanied by the smell of hot
circuit board. That's now gone and I still have full width display - but I
think somthing is getting hot in there. :( Funny that it appears to be
w*rking OK again though.
