I checked those but even with the horizontal - size set at maximum the
display was only ½ width.

It says in the manual that there is a memory which can store up to 18
different display modes, 8 of which are factory prest modes.

It does say that you can retrieve a factory preset mode by selecting the
RECALL menu.
This morning when I switched on the display was again back to ½ horizontal
size, but when I switched from one computer to the other ther screen went
blank - until I used the Power switch to switch OFF then ON again. Anyhow I
read your post and got out the manual to peruse. Took it downstairs for
about 30 minutes, and when I returned here the full width display had
returned for both pooter displays.
Next time I boot up, if I still have ½ width display I'll check and see
what the RECALL setting does. It almost seems like the monitor doesn't like
these cold nights and needs to warm up after switching on.
