Oddly enough I tend to think of (& treat) my Skype as a bit like the
way a Phone works, so you won't usually actually *see* me "Online"!...

In other words I have it on & running pretty much all the time
& I have it Logged in again, all the time...
But I don't have it Set to show up as "OnLine"!...

I assume (maybe incorrectly? - from what I can gather of the way
some people use it?) that anybody who wants to get hold of me will
try Calling (just like they do with a Phone?), & then, if I am around
& able to Answer the Call, I do - if not, it goes to the Voicemail
& they can leave a Message & I can Call them back.

That seems fine to me, though I gather 9from some people?) that they
only actually try Calling someone, if they are showing up as "OnLine"?

With a Phone, (or eMail etc!) nobody knows (before Calling) whether
the person is there, (or able to Answer) do they?
& that works fine, so I like to use Skype in the same way.
