Ah yes...
There are *some* Routers which don't work with it.
:-(

But normally (in my experience) the prob can be got around - you may
end up, however, with some Routers only being able to Initiate Calls,
rather than Receiving them - that's normally the prob that Routers
cause - though there are some (Draytek?) which which work OK with
Incoming Calls, but you can't Initiate an Outgoing Call!
& some others (Linksys?) allow the *Call* to Connect, but then the
Sound only works one way...

What Make & Model of Router is it?

Anyway...
The great thing is you don't need to "give up" now!!!
Cos you can use the *Skype* for the Sound!!!
& just use the NetMeeting for the Desktop (& Application) Sharing.

Since (as far as I know) M$ Netmeeting works fine with virtually
*all* Routers, for the Sharing bit (it's just the Sound that doesn't
work with some)

Besides, if you really find that you can't use NetMeeting, then VNC
Will do the Desktop & Application Sharin gOK - & use Skype for the
Sound.

We (mainly) started using Netmeeting, cos it does *both* Sound
& Application/Desktop Sharing - that was before things like Skype
came along (which only does the sound).

Possibly, but I don't think that would solve the prob.

Yes!
(See above)
:-)

Basically, just use NetMeeting (or VNC) for the Desktop & Application
Sharing bit (& not the Sound)
& Use something like Skype for the Sound.

I'll Run through it with you - how to handle the prob of only being
able to Initiate (or Answer) Calls, with you, if you want.

& if it's just the Router Blocking the Incoming Signal, (so you can't
Receive an Incoming Call), then that can be Sorted in the Router
Settings OK.
