They seem to take hurricanes in their stride in Florida and as far as many
of my friends there are concerned it means good surfing.The ones who don't
surf ( the almost sane ones :-) ) only mention it like I might say *it was a
bit windy the other day*. I've been there when a hurricane was forecast ( it
was downgraded to a tropical storm before it hit land) and I was stunned at
how calm they all were.
