Yes, but they will need a *Router* of some kind - either a WiFi one,
or an Ethernet one, to Route the Internet Connection to the various
PCs - Laptops or Desktops, it doesn't matter.

& adding other PCs works just the same way!

The Router acts as a DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) Server -
& Allocates each PC that Connects to it, an IP Address & keeps track
of which PC is which.
You don't have to bother about any of that, the Router does it all.

Well, it sounds like they will prolly want some sort of Internet
Connection, available for them to use on their Computers?

As to what they are "capable of" - they are *all* perfectly *capable*
of getting it Set up!
:-)
Whether or not they will actually want to bother doing it is another
matter though!!!...
Many people say they have other things to worry about & they don't
want to get involved with making it work.
