Sorry, I must have mis-read (or mis-understood) what Jeff Posted then -
I thought he said that he had used NetMeeting with you & that you could
Initiate a Call with (to) him, but he couldn't Initiate a Call *to* you.
Have you Set up the Firewall (Port Forwarding0 thing in your Router OK?
Cos you will have to do that.
I can't see any way that anybody could ever *Receive* an Incoming Call
Request to their NetMeeting, when there's a Router between them & the
Internet (*unless* they have Set their Router to allow it)
The whole idea of a Router (or rather the Firewall in the Router)
is to *Block* any unsolicited Incoming Request (which is, basically,
as far as the Router & PC is concerned) what is happening when a
NetMeeting Call comes in.
& if you *do* want to allow those through, which you need to do, to be
able to get Incoming NetMeeting Call Requests, then you would have to
Set the Firewall (Port Forwarding) in the Router to Allow them.
That's the way it's all designed to work.
