Upon the miasma of midnight, a darkling spirit identified as Paul

So that's what the ever present purring noise is.
Can they do anything about boy-racers who jump red lights?
:-)
Seriously though, at that point I was travelling a lot, and drinking
lots of different places water. It certainly did vary round the
country, some of the nicest was on the north east coast of Scotland, and
ISTR it was lovely in the Manchester area too - but London water was
vile by any standard. I did seriously consider hiring a van, filling it
with bottles of mum's tap water (Gourock, from Loch Thom, fresh and
delicious) driving south and flogging them somewhere, but didn't apply
myself enough to actually do it.
