Heart rates rise when they are stressed ,being stressed is
not the same as feeling pain.

NO, is that specific enough ?

Temperature changes means the fish will have to react to that
change in water temerature because they are cold blooded
they have to use breathing i.e heart rate to adjust,
this is NOT a Sign of pain.
