Last time I was in the jobcentre (haven't been in for a few months), they
have changed how they work. Instead of searching the computer, printing off
slips, then seeing a member of staff about the jobs, they now use staff just
for people signing on.
Everyone has to use one of the phones to ring through a number for jobs once
found on computer. Not a quiet environment, and I can't use an unamplified
phone at all.
They don't have a textphone available - so if I needed to ring I have to go
home or to the local deaf centre.
