So the 4 posts where you have demanded evidence over the last few
hours were just a mirage?
See that bit where I said I have never demanded, it still applies. I
made a request, it just hasn't been fulfilled.
See, oddly enough I trust TOG's word, I don't trust yours.
Odd that you would trust the word of someone who contradicts himself
so often.
He does? It's not something I've noticed TOG doing. Still at least with
TOG when you ask a question he answers rather than dodges it.
But the answer he gives will be different on different days. There is
no consistency, and he will give contradictory answers to the same
questions. His opinions on both the BNP and ebay's profits are good
examples of this.
Well I'm no going to defend TOG as he is more than capable doing that
himself.
And yet defending TOG was the reason you originally came here. How
strange.
The only bit that I find strange is that I was a reader/poster here long
before this year. Admittedly a low volume poster but that's neither here
nor there.
What, in one of TOG's off topic x-posts? That wouldn't really count.
Of course that wouldn't count hence the fact that that is not what I am
referring to.
I notice you share this defect yourself in respect to ebay's profits.
Sometimes you say something should be done about sellers who charge
for postage, then other times you are looking for ways to get around
the rules about restrictions ebay has placed on what sellers can
charge.
I don't believe I've ever said 'something should be done about sellers
who charge for postage'. I have moaned about being forced to offer free
postage as a seller.
You said that TOG did the right thing when he got someone kicked off
ebay for charging more than stamp value for postage.
No, I agreed with TOG's actions because the seller was being a twat
charging for collection. Remember?
What do you think is the reason sellers charge more than stamp value
for postage, and who do you think benefits the most from them doing
that?
Because packaging costs money, as does time. Paypal would reap the most
benefit as ebay don't get their cut from postage. That'd also be the
reason why ebay is moving to free postage in some sectors.
and who has the most to lose from that?
Bog standard sellers that want to start at 99p.
What do you think is ebay's reason for forcing everyone to use
free postage,
See above
Even though doing
so was just an attempt to save buyers the additional ebay fees they
would have had to pay if post was "free".
Buyers have to pay ebay fees now?
They always have done. All costs associated with selling are passed on
to the buyer.
You're wrong you know. I have never passed any of my costs on to my
buyers.
Is there a reason you are
pretending otherwise?
See above. You seem quite wrong here.
Is there a reason why you are pretending sellers do not pass on all
their selling costs to the buyer? Perhaps because you have some reason
to make people think a 1p item with £10 post will still be 1p if post
was free instead of costing £11?
Again where have I said that? I haven't.
This is a prime example of you twisting and contorting things to suit
your point of view.
I fail to see how pointing out an inconsistency on your part is
"twisting and contorting things". It seems to me that you are the one
that is "twisting and contorting things" in order to make them fit
whatever your agenda is.
Deflection again. I told you what my agenda was, I just want a few
straight answers.
Is "deflecting" different to "twisting and contorting"?
Well, d'uh! I ask a question and you failing to answer it is deflecting.
I see. So "deflecting" is what you do when I ask why a non-racist
would attack someone for saying racism is wrong but not attack someone
for saying ethnic minorities should be murdered.
Just so I get this right, are you saying that I have attacked you
because of an anti racist stance? I just want to be clear.
And "twisting and contorting" is ...
The way you interpret a post so that your reply can include such gems as
'everyone is picking on me' and 'this group is half full of racists and
i'll do what I can to stop them'.
So "twisting and contorting" is when you pretend that the reason
everyone who exposes anti-racist views is attacked is because nobody
likes me?
Can you point me to where I said that? Tell you what I'll save you the
time, you can't. You are looking a little foolish here.
