As it quite clearly stated £20 delivery with no option to collect on one
of your previous wins but you decided to ignore that and tell the seller
what you thought was reasonable for collection.
You either abide by ALL the rules or not at all, you can't pick and
choose which you like.
Your missing the point. ( apart from confusing others who will think your
talking about this thread , when in fact your bringing up a different
issue, from a previous thread..)
re:- that Other item I bought,
I emailed the seller twice to ask if i could pick up
She didn't reply.
I took a chance and bid.
After I won , I emailed her and told her , I realised she was probably
making a little bit on postage, so I offered to INCREASE my winning bid by
500%
She STILL wanted me to pay the auction price of 99p + £20 EVEN IF I DID
COLLECT THE ITEM .
Had she been apologetic in her emails, and said she'd be really gutted to
let it go for such a low price, and she if she admitted she should have
listed it at a higher starting price . I would have accepted her appology.
Her attitude was totally different.
So for Ebay fee avoidance AND excessive postage charges. I negged her.
No ifs , no buts.
If the item had been bid upto £20 , she would have let me collect no
problem, WITH NO EXTRA COSTS
So dont go making out she's hard done by.
Its for ebay to decide against fee avoidance and they will make the
necessary punishment, Cant comment on excessive postage but you knew the
price before bidding, so you are well out of order IMO, You are not the ebay
Police, You must go looking for such auctions to boast about, but as another
poster said it could backfire on you and you will put your seller account at
high risk of NARU if they link both accounts,
.
