TBH I think this is between me and the seller...

In which case, don't post about it on a public Newsgroup.

Without further details its impossible to tell whether its yourself
or the seller who's being unreasonable.

As its impossible to decide that, asking people to decide whether
the seller is likely to retaliate, as you did in your original post
is all rather pointless. Is it not?


It's probably not a massive
deal (I did get my items eventually!) and it might just go to show how I've
grown accustomed to the great number of fantastic sellers. The point is,
compared to the greatest number of transactions I've had as a buyer over the
last five years, this was rather shoddily conducted and I don't feel the
feedback should be the same as the one that I leave for the good sellers.

Thanks for your answer BTW, I used to read this NG years ago, then abandoned
it and now I'm being reminded just how useful it can be!

It can only be useful, if you provide sufficient information for
other posters to offer you informed advice. In this case perhaps,
you've decided what to do based on what's been posted on here, but
again maybe you've decided to keep that a big secret as well.
