I have found that, to come extent is also the case on Ebay and you
have to be clearer than clear about things as there are loads of
serial refund seekers out there. This will only get worse when they
don't have to fear receiving negative feedback from sellers. I now
never give any grading of cosmetics on items I sell and just take
loads of photos & described them "Cosmetically as photographed" so
people can judge for themselves. Even so this week I have had 2
complaints from people who bought second hand TFTs whinging about
scuffing on the outer cases which was clearly visible in the
photos. You just can't win.

From a buyers view point, the pictures aren't worth anything at all.
I've had made purchases on a number of occasions where the supplied
goods deffinitely were not the ones in the pictures. I even started
a thread on here about it & were told in no uncertain terms that many
sellers do it & it's perfectly ok to use stock pictures, so you
purchase product which is mint in the pictures only to find when you
get it, it is a different serial number (big clue there) & it is in
somewhat dirty condition & when you query it with the seller he gives
a neutral saying that I'm a guy who likes to moan even when he gets
exactly what was advertised.

Paypal were their normal helpful selfs (not) & seeing as it would be
inside a coms case I didn't press the matter but it only goes to show
that you just can't trust any pictures...
