The OP initially said postage was "free". Then went on to make a point of writing, "sending the item Royal Mail Signed For at my expense" - clearly indicating that they hadn't planned to do so. Thus indicating that the item was of low value.
I dunno about that. You should see the threads on the Ebay boards about sellers who send high value stuff SIgned For.....!
I was only trying to claim that my deduction was logical. Not that ebay sellers are ;)
