Even 25 years ago I had a computer system (multiple Z80, programmed
myself) that managed to print out delivery notes in the warehouse
automatically as the orders were finalised. These days that order
finalising isn't someone with a computer terminal finishing a phone
conversation, it's done by other computers.
Yes, but the computers probably don't work over Christmas.
