recently ALL ebay emails, be they questions to sellers or confirmation
of purchases, are not being picked up by Yahoo or Mailwasher.
I use Yahoo at work to monitor incoming and Mailwasher/OE at home to
sort out the junk.
When checking for emails using Yahoo or Mailwasher nothing from ebay
shows up yet when I go send/receive in Outlook Express, they appear.
I have not changed any settings in Yahoo/Mailwasher to filter ebay out.
anyone else experience this.
thanks
You haven't changed your ebay email address have you ?
In any case check your ebay mail Account settings in MW,
(Tools>Accounts><ebay account>>Properties
Tick the "Include this Account in default mail check" if not already
done.

no nothing has changed.........OE, Ebay, Yahoo and Mailwasher are all set
to the same email account I have had 2 years.
OK. As OE is receiving the emails then there's obviously no problem with
your connection. JSTM you need to concentrate on why MW is not 'seeing'
them.
Presumably you have other Accounts set up in MW & if it's seeing the email
for those, then the program is working.
I would begin by checking MW's settings (as above) & if there's nothing
obviously wrong with the <ebay account> settings, then delete it &
re-create it.
Probably worth checking the "Properties" of the ebay emails in OE to
double check the address the address they're being sent to.

all checked and OK but why would BT Yahoos own mail page also not see
them.........it sees all my regular mail and plenty of spam. In short I have
not changed any email settings for, well years.
I am wondering if it is something done by eBay to prevent their emails going
into spam traps and getting deleted.
not to worry I am sure it will be resolved
.
