I have a listing up for holiday cottage that ebay keep closing for silly
things like it says "Now taking booking for xmas" etc
If you look at most holiday cottage adverts they all have external web
sites, email address's mobile numbers obviously to sell out of ebay.
I sell within as you can see below, Can anyone have a look at my ad and
tell me just why my ad is getting taken down all the time whilst others
are not, it's doing my head in?
If someone is reporting me how can I find out who?

Saw it straight off - you are listing a choice auction which is not allowed
on Ebay. Basically you must put a listing up for each specific holiday
period instead of giving buyers a choice. Also probably fee avoidance as,
although you are making it clear that the auction is for the deposit only,
you have no way of proving that you will actually put another listing up for
the remainder nearer the time.
Yes others do it and yes others probably get away with it but as Ebay only
respond to people whopping other people it's probably a competitor reporting
you. If you continue to ignore Ebay's closing your auctions down they will
shut your ID down so bear this in mind. Is there anyone else currently on
Ebay listing a holiday cottage on Anglesey - if so than it is a fair bet
they are the ones putting the reports in to Ebay about your auction
contravening the rules.
