If it was a buy it now would normally do is included the p&p in the
overall costs and bid on the cheapest but this is a normal auction for
an item that comes up once in a blue moon so I dont not have any other
sellers to chose from, to give you an idea of the costs this is a
polystyrene radio control model that weighs 350 grams and thats when
the radio control is fitted which is not included with the auction,
heaver items from other sellers are being posted between £5 to £8 and
this is for around a 2 kilo model
You don't have to buy it if you're not happy with the P&P costs...
very true but if you want the item and there are no other options ,I
just don't like being charges a stealth tax by being a, way overcharged
for postage b, having VAT charge on the final auction amount

The VAT thing just shows you are dealing with a responsible and
reasonably large business.

You could always email them and ask how much they'd charge you to buy one
off ebay?
sorry I meant these are two of my pet hates on ebay, this seller is only
overcharging the postage they are not charging VAT as well

Just look at the total price and decide if it's a price worth paying.

Don't forget that ebays fees have risen quite a bit so somewhere along the
line they have to be absorbed.
