I have installed Smartstamp but cant get it to authenticate user.
I am running Win XP pro SP2 and their site suggests it only runs on SP1.
I cant believe this is the case, is anyone managing to run it on SP2?
Cheers,

Rick,
Check your firewall settings, and ensure that "sbsingle.exe" is not
being blocked. It might show up in your firewall as "sbsingle.exe",
"SmartStamp" or "StampIt Singleton Module".
Also, ensure that you are not copying and pasting your customer number
or printing password.
You will also notice Rick that the site doesn't mention allthe Service
Packs for Windows 2000, or a list of all the "hotfixes" that M$ have
released. XP is XP, SP2 is supported.
If you still can't get it to work give the helpdesk a call, it is very
quiet at the moment so you should get pretty much straight through.

ask.
Have you got the helpdesk number handy, I cant find it on their site.
Cheers,
Rick
Its 08456 001 334.
Alternatively, post your customer reference number, phone number, or
the email address that is registered with SmartStamp (email address is
probably best) and I'll give you a call and [hopefully] get it sorted.
