On receiving item buyer emails to say that the front bezel is loose (as
described) due to a broken retaining clip (why else would it be loose)
and inferred that if I do not compensate him he will be leaving negative
feedback. I asked how much and he wanted between £10 and £15 back so I
refunded £12.50 despite it being clear that no warranty was offered as
the item was faulty. Reported to Ebay for feedback extortion and Ebay
replied telling me how important feedback is blah blah. He has not left
pos seeing as he got what he wanted.
Not only becuase I am pissed off at being blackmailed but also to warn
other sellers of his antics would you lot leave neut or neg feedback with
an appropriate comment. I want to leave neg but at the same time he did
pay so deserves credit for behaving himself around the early part of the
deal so would a neut be more suitable .... or is feedback extortion
generally considered a pretty low down and nasty thing to do?

I also see you mention it booted at forst but froze during an install, So
he thought (more than likely as I mentioned in my other post) That you
incompetent and he'd fix it o-k.
He found he could'nt so clawed some of his cash back by simply mentioning
hell leave a neg if you don't!
