Non-selling-sellers have right to falsely report the items as Unpaid Items!
I feel it is my duty to inform others about this eBay problem, because I
believe that not all realize it at first.
I'm only trying to tell the world that most of the nice words eBay uses
regarding themselves are lies, and that the image they try to have is
insincere.
I bought an item on eBay. I paid (with the aid of PayPal) the total invoice
at
the right time, and the seller got the payment in full, as stated in the
invoice, at the right time. But I never got the item. I have sent thorough
evidence to eBay, that proves the full payment of the invoice, several
mistakes from the seller, and that the seller lies in all the arguments.
From
the first day eBay supported the seller's fraud, and still to the very last,
eBay supports the fraud and scorns the truth. As you can see in the e-mails
I
post here, one person (Pal) sees something in the middle of the procedure,
but
he is eventually knocked down from the rest of the eBay staff.
Here is a little extract from the dispute:
>From the seller: ebay@xxxxxxxxxxx ( new User ID digi4me )
"

following item:

And here is the Unpaid Item Strike:
"
An Unpaid Item dispute has been opened for the following item: *SANDISK
512MB
MEMORY STICK PRO 4 SONY DIGITAL CAMERA (#3845834234)
Reason given for Unpaid Item: The buyer has not paid for the item.
Buyer actions reported by seller: The buyer wants a payment method that I
don't accept.

Hello Steinar,
I must apologize. I looked at the wrong listing description. You are
absolutely right. This listing specifies PayPal is accepted but does
not have any language explaining PayPal is not accepted for
International transactions. As such, their refusal to accept PayPal
from you is a violation of the non-selling seller policy:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/non-selling-seller.html
If you still want the item at the price agreed to, I would be happy to
reach out to the seller on your behalf and insist he honor the terms of
the listing.
If you want me to reach out to the seller to discuss honoring the
listing terms, I will do that.
I will chat with our Customer Support department as I believe the Unpaid
Item reason was incorrect. We can note it in your file.
Regards,
Pal

Hello Steinar,
I regret I've not been able to bring any satisfaction to your complaint
and have forwarded it to the eBay complaint department. You should be
hearing from them this week.
Kindest Regards,
Pal

Hello Steinar,
Thank you for your first regarding this strike.
The strike was placed on your account in the first place because the
seller had informed us that they had not received payment for the item
in question. We placed an unpaid item strike on your account and the
seller received a refund of their fees.
When you appealed this strike, we looked at your records and because
this was your first unpaid item strike and your first appeal, we decided
to remove the strike for first infraction.
In answer to your question, no, this unpaid item strike was not placed
on your account in error. We simply removed the item because it was your
first appeal.
We appreciate your patience and understanding regarding this matter.
Kind regards,
Jane Gogerty

Hello Steinar,
Thank you for writing back to Bill Cobb. My name is Mike and I'll be
happy to address your concerns further.
I understand your frustration in this situation, however it is the
sellers right to file an Unpaid Item Dispute when a transaction isn't
completed.
Had the transaction gone smoothly, eBay does not become involved. It is
only when there are issues with the transaction that out Safe Harbor
team may intervene and take action.
In regards to the Unpaid Item strike you received, it was removed.
It is always in your best interest to resolve situations like this with
your seller, as when they close a dispute, a Unpaid Item Strike can be
issued automatically.
eBay does not manually issue Unpaid Item Strikes; only the seller can in
certain situations.
As you continue to write with the same issue, and it's been explained
several times, we will continue to read your emails about this issue,
however you may not receive a response.
It is my pleasure to assist you. Thank you for choosing eBay.
Regards,

I posted this extract to show the progress of one particular issue. I have a
huge amount of e-mails from eBay that only prove how inconsistent,
dishonest,
false and arrogant eBay is.
In this issue the seller got full support, and all the right to receive a
refund of their fees on false premises. And eBay to the bitter end supported
all the lies and muddle from the seller, and scorned the truth.
And I have no reason in my file for why they say that the strike was
removed,
or that it was incorrect. And the strike I received was really NOT
removed. The strike being removed is a lie, and I got all the debiting.
eBay self (Pal) says here that the strike is NOT removed:
?
I will chat with our Customer Support department as I believe the Unpaid
Item reason was incorrect. We can note it in your file.
?
Why/how note the reason for a removed strike? I also have other e-mails from
eBay that acknowledge that the strike is not removed.
If you read the abstract over in context with what eBay trys to say in
Policies, Program, Rules and fundamental values you will see that most of
eBay's Policies, Program, Rules and fundamental values are only deception,
duplicity and deceit.
Read for example this note:
"
Note: Sellers who falsely report Unpaid Items may have all credits for the
time period in question reversed, lose the right to use the Final Value Fee
Credit system for a period of time and/or be subject to suspension.
"
http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/unpaid-item.html
This is only one of several examples you can find.
Do you see the discrepancy/disagreement between the policies and the
practice?
If you don't see it, you are perhaps a "good" (maybe a PowerSeller) seller
on
eBay. ;-)
I have worked on this issue for over a year now, so I know that eBay does
what
they do 100% consciously, and I have all the evidence.
Steinar
:-)
