Using a search term of WITM (which people would not use in general unless
they knew what it was called), gets #2 on Google and #1 on MSN.

So Google knows about it, but ranks it very low on quite sensible search
terms.

I feel your pain.
I have been in the same situation for a long time between various search
engines and Google.
The page in question has a PR of 4 too and lots of genuine inbound links.
Its very hard to work out whats going on, but i am going to make some
changes and see what happens.
