Greg - this might be a really patronising question, but is her mic
technique alright?
In the Mis-Spelled Band they had a drummer for a while who was louder
than Zeus, and it was a nightmare - a combination of his Animal-esque
technique and his enormous (unmic'd) kit. We had four MASSIVE mackie
speakers (a total of 3k I *think*) and even the male vocalist (who
often biased the PA mix to suit his ego, and who had a very powerful
voice) struggled to be heard over the drums in smaller venues.
