Don't be too hard on him, a decent newsreader can auto snip content!

I used to use Gravity and that was excellent at it, since moving to
Vista
and Windows Mail I have to be careful to remember to do it.

Now you have a point there, I used to use a news reader but when I
changed ISP I couldn't do the news thing (I was told by my new ISP)
until I found UKMG on "Google Groups" (If the reply window gets too
small you can't see the text you're answering, hence my all too
catastrophic faux pas!!!)

I'd prefer a reader, but does my ISP have to support NewsGroups?

Also to add to the issue I'm mac based. So any mention of 'Vista' or
'Microsoft' gives me the willy's. Any suggestions?

I think I have now got the hang of 'snipping". I'll have a look once
this is sent.

"bottom posting" ??? My mother-in-law's a nurse....maybe she'll know.
